Vice President Commercialization

Mi-T-M Corporation is seeking a Vice President, Commercialization at its headquarters in Peosta, IA.
Reporting to the CEO, the VP, Commercialization will provide vision and strategic market direction for the company.
This role will have responsibility and accountability for developing growth strategies and business opportunities that lead to profitable growth.
This individual must have leadership agility in order to maintain business success in today's increasingly complex, fast-paced and changing business environment.
This leader will drive and implement an organizational vision and provide strategic leadership focused on generating, maintaining, and increasing profitable revenue, servicing multiple markets.
The VP, Commercialization will create strategies to integrate and align functions across the organization, including Marketing, Sales, Product Development, Customer Success, and others, to achieve revenue and EBITDA targets, while growing demand for Mi-T-M's products and services.
Role and Responsibility:
Develop and implement product, channel and sales execution strategy that delivers the organizational commercialization plan and builds relationships with relevant decision makers and influencers.
Establish analytics and methods to measure and forecast demand and market conditions, identify operational deficiencies, and develop effective and data-driven pricing strategies with corresponding KPIs (key performance indicators) Conduct research to identify internal and external opportunities to expand and optimize new product development and revenue-producing activities.
Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy, delivering a multi-year product plan with a cadence of products including end-to-end analysis of current product lines.
Produce integrated brand, marketing and market plans to support financial objectives.
Evaluate distribution methodology and market selection for both major accounts and complex distribution.
Conduct long-term and short-term goal setting for teams and individuals and use data to measure and monitor sales processes, identify issues, and enhance performance.
Monitor the industry, business environment, competitors, and customers to develop action plans for expanding and retaining the customer base.
Build and develop effective sales, marketing and support teams by recruiting, mentoring and training.
Lead key customer meetings, presentations and trade events.
Develop subject matter experts and generate tools for success.
Use comprehensive knowledge and skills to work independently while providing guidance and training to others on maintaining high performance.
Apply a change management mindset to the planning, execution, and monitoring of business activities.
Coordinate cross-functional teams (e.
g.
, sales, marketing, products) to align initiatives around prioritized customer segments.
Support operations planning by providing forecasting and customer insights that influence corporate buying decisions.
Maneuver comfortably through policy, process, and people-related organizational dynamics.
Appreciates the main elements of the organizational culture and gives others advice on how to operate effectively.
Required Skills and
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with 15
years of commercialization leadership experience, MBA preferred.
Proven track record of driving commercialization excellence through sales and product leadership, price margin realization, developing tools and team engagement.
Strong financial acumen, with direct accountability of P&L for at least $100 million organization, with a positive EBITDA and demonstrated strategies for growing revenue and EBITDA.
Prior executive experience with success building and mentoring a strong management team.
Strong market and customer research background with resulting delivery of high-performing product pipeline and successful market launch.
Exemplary forecasting expertise.
Strong oral and written communication skills that translates to presentation skills.
Ability to evaluate, document, plan and execute programs.
Proficiency in all MS Office applications as well as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
Outstanding leadership skills with proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Candidate must be reliable, regular attendance in the office (onsite) is required when not traveling.
Use independent judgment and has the ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address day-to-day problems with projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers.
